I feel like I have been running to keep up with everything the last few days. Every second of my day is planned out or else I dont get it all done, I wonder if you can get so busy that you forget to breath?
Yesterday Hallie and I made Lemon Cordial and Orange Cordial, I have made Lemon cordial before there is a recipe in my family that my great grandmother used to make, however it is complicated and time consuming, so when I found one (thanks to Mel Goodsell) that looked super easy I decided to give it a go.
Not so sure I will make Lemon again this way though, its just not as nice as Ma's. However I am quite pleased with the orange so all was not lost.
Hallie wanted to make Play-doh so that was next, in a lovely bright green colour, She made me some scones with it, MMMM yummo *wink*
And I made piklets for the kids for afternoon tea, whilst trying to help Maddi with her debating speach and looking after the other 5 children that were running around like mad, makes me so greatful that I have 4 children and not 6 like I originally planned ;)
Well as lovely as it is sitting here in the peace and quiet as both kids sleep I really should go and bring in the clothes and iron them before the kids get home from school
