Doing my bit for the economy!

I have been having a bit of a shopping spree lately. Im feeling very inspired and my LQS had a 40% off sale so whats a girl to do but shop?

Just a little bit of fabric :) Not really certain what any of it destine to become yet but thats hardly the point is it now???

I have just learnt how to knit  why didnt I learn this, I dunno 10yrs ago? I am loving being snuggled up on the lounge at night watching telly and creating at the same time. This stunning blue/grey mohair is soon to be turned into a scarf for me!

These arrived on my doorstep this week. I have wanted this Poppy pattern ever since I saw it last year, after much searching I shot of an email to Cathy and da-da it arrived as if by magic.
I cant really explain the book, I was in a bad mood and thought some shopping might cheer me up oh and how it did! This book is full of stunning projects  Im in love!

Somehow these managed to find their way home with me yesterday, Im still waiting for a quiet coffee and (chocolate) to check them out but with school no going back til Wednesday its a little while off I think.

Be back tomorrow with all the things I have made :)

Ohhhhhh, I love these fabrics. I can't believe they had 40% off too. Our local shop never has huge sales like that. Enjoy your coffee and read.

Lovely fabrics Dani! I just finished a quilt using the Lila Tueller Soiree fabric, they are gorgeous colours! Think I might have to hunt down that Homespun mag too!

How tempting must that shop have been - good self control on your behalf I say!
