On Tuesday night while Maddison was away on her very first overnight excursion I was able to make her a camera case for her b'day next friday. I read a tut on one of the 100 blogs I have looked at this week, and then made Brad help me make a patteren and away I went, I decided to quilt it, and bind all the inside seams, the curve is a little off but for a frist try I am very happy.
Yesterday I was lucky enough to find time to make Alex's Robot shorts, Oh gee they are cute. He wore them today but I didnt get to take a photo.
Also baked cupcakes, vacumed, mopped, 3 loads of washing and cleaned the bathroom *phew*
Today after reading groups, playgroup, lunch, hanging washing out and putting the kids down for afternoon naps, I made these crochet hook rolls, how cool is that fabric??? (probably more suited to knitting needle rolls, but that was more work then I was prepared to do)
One is for mum as apart of her birthday present, and while I was sewing I decided I needed one too.
This afternoon I made a batch of Scones, had 5 children, then 7 in the house, bathed kids, folded 2 baskets of washing, battered fish and made potato chips for dinner, cleaned up put kids to bed and made Hallie's skirt, I cant wait to try it on her in the morning, I hope it looks as cute on as it does off.
On tomorrows job list, Playgroup meeting, banking, shoes for Hallie, pay layby's, 2 loads of washing, make 2 pairs of shorts for Alex, clean up girls room, (I really need to sort through their wardrobe and bring out the summer clothes.
No woder Im tired!
Sue-The bag I made I used plastic table cloth stuff from spotlight ($6per m about) I am hoping to make another bag on the weekend but going to try my luck with a zipper *arrr*
