Pheww Chritmas is OVER!

I have to say it was a great day even though we didnt have Maddi and Jake until 4pm, I missed them like hell but once we got them back we could relax and have heaps of fun.
Brad Hallie and I spent the day at mum and dads, we had a lovely baked dinner and the weather was just perfect for it. T M and Tom were there as well, and even though the night before had been extreamly stressful and I was not looking forward to going back there, they held off their crap and I decided to not let them ruin my day.

Hallie had a great time- I didnt think she would know what to do with all the presents, but she was so funny with them all, Santa bought her a doll and she grabed it and kissed it. Its really cute the doll sucks its thumb as well. She got a zillion other things as well, but her favourite by far it her little lounge, she sits up so proud in it, with her dolls on either side of her...so cute.

Jacob's favorite by far was his Roboraptor from us and his Crocodile Hunter DVD's from mum and dad. When he opened his Roboraptor his eyes lit up and he jumped up and down yelling thank you mummy thank you! Its a pretty cool toy, He has fun making it chase everyone!

Maddison had requested books for christmas, A little to late though, her christmas presents were already wrapped under the tree by that stage, But when she opened her Nintendo DS its a look I will never forget, she screamed she cried she wouldnt let go of me, She was that excited to get that for christmas. It made the $300 I spent on the thing very worthwhile! I had my doubts over giving it to her wondered if she was to young for it, wondered if she would want it enough to take care of it properly, but right in the instant she opened it I knew I had done the right thing.

I gave Brad a fish tank- I wasnt sure about that either, didnt know if he would want it, we had talked about getting a fish tank, I know he wanted a big one, but we dont have the room and I dont want to spend the thousands of dollars to set up a big tank and for the enthusiasium to wear off, So I thought we could start small. He loves it, thinks its a fantastic idea and we know have a fish tank all set up with no fish cos the pet shop was closed when we went there the other day and its a 65km drive so I guess we will wait a couple of weeks before going back and getting our fish.

Friday we took the kids to Canberra and went to Questacon (we won tickets a while ago) They had so much fun! There is so much to see and do even Hallie had fun. We spent nearly an hour in Mini Q which is the 0-6 room and Hallie played in the water and crawled around in the tunnles and different things. I tell ya if I won a lot of money I would build a room like that in my house!

Then we took the kids over to Nowra and stayed at M's place for a couple of days and headed home Monday. We spent New Year's Eve listening to the waves chase on the beach and eating seafood- doesnt get better then that.
I have to say I am glad we werent there any longer though, T's attitude leaves a lot to be desired lately and I just cant handle her.
Every thing taht happens is not good enough for her and to be honest I always knew she was stuck up but she is getting worse! Her and M are having problems that is so obvious, I really dont understand how either one of them dont even want to try though, I mean Tom is involed as well and I dont know how they cant see how much they are going to hurt him in the long run. I mean really what is worse parents who are happy and not together or parent who fight all the time and do nothing but all each other names, considering they are both in their 30s they are both so bloody immature.
I could go on about them forever butv I will leave that for another day.

So all in all our little holiday was great and it was even better to be home again. Brad has gone back to work today and I am all alone with 3 kids AGRHHH LOL.
Maddi got heaps of "do" things for christmas so I have promised her that we will do some of them today, so I really should go and do it before Hallie wakes up. I was going to cleant the house today but Brad's parents are coming on sunday so it can wait till saturday- that way it will still be clean good enough excuse for me!
